This Privacy Policy outlines how Glass Tinting Supplies Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and business data through the Tint Edge App ("Service").
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of data:
Account Data: Name, email address, password hash, business name, contact number, business settings (e.g., units, language, currency).
Activity Data: Logins, quotes, invoices, appointments, warranty submissions, and interactions with the platform.
Payment Data: Collected and processed via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers.
Device Data: IP address, device type, browser, language, location (derived from Place Picker or browser/IP).
3. Use of Information
We use your data to:
Deliver and improve core features (CRM, quoting, invoicing, etc.)
Manage user roles and access control
Send notifications, reminders, and system alerts
Generate reports and logs for your business
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4. Data Storage & Security
All user data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), behind RLS (Row-Level Security) policies.
Authentication is handled via Firebase, bridged securely to Supabase.
Backups and audit logs are maintained to protect against data loss.
Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data with:
Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Braintree) for billing
Communication providers (SendGrid, OneSignal) for system notifications
Legal authorities if compelled by law
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and local storage to:
Maintain session state
Store language/unit preferences
Track login status
7. Data Retention
Business data remains accessible for 90 days after subscription expiry.
After the retention period, data may be deleted unless legally required to retain.
8. Your Rights
You may:
Access, update, or delete your account data
Export your business data (CSV, PDF)
Revoke consent for non-essential notifications
Request account deletion via email
9. Data Transfers
Data is hosted in Australia or selected secure regions. Some metadata may transit through CDN, email, or third-party API endpoints.
10. Changes to Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Users will be notified of material changes via in-app notice or email.
